Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all my dear, beloved readers. Thank you for listening to me brag, moan, cry, complain, detail and go on and on and on about our little family. Thank you for providing feedback when I asked for it, and even sometimes when I did not :)

I hope you all have a joyous holiday!

Kristi, this is your cousin Julie in Lynden :-) I was just reading through your sleepwalking story and had to tell you one of ours. I've been know to sleepwalk and our daughter Samantha seems to have inherited the gene. Five years ago we were living in Mexico and had come up to San Diego to meet my parents for a weekend. We were all staying in a hotel in San Diego in adjoining rooms. Samantha and Emily wanted to sleep in Grandma and Grandpa's room so everyone eventually got to sleep. About an hour later I thought I heard a very quiet "tap tap tap" on our door. I listened for a bit and heard it again, woke up Robert and he got up. He opened the door, and there in the hallway stood Samantha! She had woken up in the hallway and not knowing which room number was ours, started knocking on doors. She said one man told her she was at the wrong room and closed the door. Here she was, only TEN years old, lost, and he just shuts the door! I still shudder when I think about her wandering around alone in a hotel at night. I'm so thankful that the Lord protected her and brought her to our room.
Anyway, Merry Christmas!
