Happy New Year

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.
Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm;
But how can one be warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

We have more than a threefold cord. We have a many-fold cord made up of our beloved friends and family.

I'd like to devote my first blog of the New Year to our loved ones.

To those who have encouraged and supported us, those who have given us their wisdom and knowledge and ideas, those who have shared with us the precious gift of their time and efforts and resources, those who we see rarely, yet love dearly, those who have put our unruly gang up in their homes and those who traveled far to see our unruly gang...

We love you and our life would be so much emptier without your presence. This upcoming year will bring ups and downs, bad times and good, great joys and great sorrows, but through it all, the bonds of family and friendship will hold steady.
